Sasha S Fair Hello, friends! My name is Sasha S. Fair. I am a contemporary artist living and creating in a small town in Central Washington State, USA. I studied in an art school for several years and keep taking workshops to advance my skills and practice. I noticed the more sophisticated my technical skills become, the more beauty and meaning I can express on canvas. I grab an easel, a sketchbook, watercolors, gouache, pencils and walk around exploring rural America and landscapes of Central Washington. I start with simple objects or ideas, then work through more complex compositions. For my bigger studio works I paint with oil paint on linen panels. I high qulity oil paint and art supplies made in the USA. I live in a rural town called Wenatchee. The mighty Columbia River flows through Wenatchee Valley surrounded by Cascade Mountains. It's a beautiful land with wonderful hard-working, kind people. Our region is called the Apple Capital of the World because we grow and export large amounts of apples nationally and around the globe. This rural community and gorgeous Cascade Mountains, lakes and foothils inspire me to create artwork. I love hiking and painting outside. In my past I have lived in many countries and big cities, but I'm blessed God brought me to Wenatchee Valley. I bring modern day life and people into my artwork. One of my favorite experiences was to paint a local girl in an old fruit orchard for 2023 Washington State Apple Blossom Festival. I paint historically important buidlings, churches, old farm equipment and local people. I paint custom comissioned portraits and custom landscapes.
